BLUE PLAQUE AND SPECIAL FILM SCREENING

Goole Civic Society is to unveil a Blue Plaque to commemorate Goole-born film star Dorothy Ezard Bartlam (1907-1991)  on Wednesday 13th September 2023. 
As part of the event we will be showing one of her best known films, Fascination (1931), at Junction theatre, Paradise Place, Goole. Free tickets are available from Junction box office 01405 763652 or online at https://www.junctiongoole.co.uk/films/fascination/

REUBEN CHAPPELL OUTDOOR ART TRAIL 

This is a permanent self-guided tour around Goole celebrating Pierhead Painter Reuben Chappell.

Trail books available in Goole Museum and Library, Carlisle Street, Goole, DN14 5DS. The library building faces the Clock Tower roundabout, and the museum is on the first floor.

Books also available from the Yorkshire Waterways Museum, Dutch Riverside, Goole, DN14 5TB.
