Goole’s newest Blue Plaque has been unveiled, honouring a pioneering Goole quarry manager who invented her own brand of cast stone.

Civic Society helping to shape Goole's future as member of Town Deal Board

Goole is one of 101 towns selected by the Government to benefit from a Town Deal, worth up to £25m. Goole Civic Society has a seat on the Town Deal Board responsible for shaping a Town Investment Plan. The fund is designed to propose a range of interventions that drive the renewal of towns to generate long-term economic and productivity growth.

HODs 2020: Goole Zeppelin Raid and War Graves Walks

Goole Civic Society has gone socially distanced for Heritage Open Days 2020. We have created two self-guided walking tours taking you back in time to the First World War. 1.
